These terms form a contract between you and MECH-INSPECT LIMITED ("we", "us") for the Caliper software service at mechinsp.shop. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

Caliper is an online-only software (SaaS) copilot that drafts inspection checklists, reasons through failure modes, generates technical diagrams and short motion clips, and assembles report drafts. It is a digital tool delivered over the web; it is not a physical product, an on-site service, or a certified inspection.

All output is a reference draft. It does not replace a qualified engineer, statutory inspection, NDT-certified personnel or manufacturer documentation, and must not be used as the basis for acceptance, release, structural/pressure/lifting safety sign-off, incident findings, insurance or legal evidence. See the AI Disclaimer and Acceptable Use Policy, which form part of these terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13; users aged 13–17 require guardian consent and must not use the service for real safety-critical work.

Plans are billed in US Dollars on a recurring monthly or annual basis until cancelled. Each plan includes a periodic allowance that resets each billing period and does not roll over. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next period. See Pricing and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You must use the service lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. You are responsible for the legality of any content you upload, including confidentiality, export-control and third-party rights.

We and our licensors own the platform. Rights in the content you generate are addressed in the Content License.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty that output is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken in reliance on output; our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

We may update these terms and will post the new "last updated" date. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
